M Bear is at a ‘stag’ party so I will do the honours of annoucing that we have a house to live in!  Not a house, but an apartment.  It was sort of a snap decision to get it but it has a bath and hotwater is included in the rent.

My criteria for housing included:

absolutely no highrise

must have bath

prefer outdoor space

looks okay

So we got the bath part and it does look nice from the outside.  I added windows to my list because M. noted that an apartment we looked at online “had windows”.  I had assumed that it was given we would not take any flat with no windows.  Jeepers.

It is also affiliated with the university so we wont need to pay rent on a year lease.  So basically that finding a house part is over.  Now I am most looking forward to the endless baths I will be able to have.  I hope the hotwater cylinder is big.

Shall we stay here, or here, or here?  A collection of cosy American bed and breakfast places that don't serve breakfast.  The beds all look so 'American'; squishy and quilt covered. Sbear

In other news, we have a crappy webcam that is such stink quality that it is like a bad puppet show or a badly dubbed film when you are having a voice conversation: you say things, but your lips don't move. Oh well, people can just see our puppet faces. We will have to try to have a conversation on Messenger with Paeroa soon – your webcam surely must be better than ours! – Mbear

This is mine and his shared website.  Like his and hers towels.  We're going to put up pictures of our trip and all the things we do.  There will be photos of the wildlife, and the giant foods we eat.  Maybe even the airline food… there will be snow pictures for sure.  It will be like a giant interactive group email!  woooohooo!  – sbear

Not there yet. We fly on August 11, 2006. Keep looking here for informative stories about life in Massachusetts, USA. – mbear
